GOOD NIGHT!!!!

Having a good night of sleep meant a lot to Delight today. She is feeling better than she has the past few mornings. She slept all night without waking up last night. Terry Joe's alarm went off at 5:30 and she got up and took a shower and went back to bed until 8:30 this morning!!! But she said that she is still sleepy. She was begging to go home after we ate lunch and take a nap, but I insisted that she had been off to much lately and she need to come back to work!! So she decided to work a while longer. She said she was just going to sleep all weekend.

She looks really good today. The twins have a ball game tonight at 8:30. She hopes to feel well enough to make it. They thought they were playing last night so they went to the ball park and it had been changed to night. Bracee also has a dance program tomorrow night that she wants to go.

Delight maybe you'll have time to sleep a little!!!

Hello Delight!

I took this photo on top of Angel's Landing in Zion National Park, Utah. The crowd up there helped me out with instructions on how to make a 'D' and 'E' in sign language. Since we had climbed a little closer to heaven, we all sent up a prayer for you while we were there.

NOT MUCH BETTER

Delight came to work at about noon today. She is not feeling any better today. She did not sleep at all last night. I think that she is going to have to get some type of sleeping pill. I told her again today how good she looked but she is still wishing that she felt as good as she looked. Still NO energy.

The fluid that they drained off of the lung last Friday was cancerous. The doctor is wanting to seal of this lung but Delight is uncertain what she is going to do. The surgery and healing time was a lot worse that what she had been lead to believe. Her ribs are still sore from the surgery the last time. When she makes some kind of decision I will let you know.

HURTING ALL OVER

Delight is at work today, barely. She does not feel good at all. She has not been sleeping very much. No energy at all. Her back is hurting and her legs are hurting, she is just hurting all over. She said that it is just side effects from the chemo. Terry Joe took her for a ride yesterday and he wanted to eat at Papa's but she didn't feel like it. This is her second week for the chemo.

Blu, Jennifer, Kaylee & Jo were here over the weekend. They were all having a good time except for Blu. He was having some hurting in his side. The visit was cut short when they had to leave early Sunday morning to take Blu to the hospital in Dallas. His appendix had ruptured. Thankfully she got him to the hospital before to much of the infection had spread. He is supposed to go home today from the hospital. Blu, we hope that you are feeling better!! Take care of yourself.

Lisa, Delight & I were talking about you a little bit ago. We hope that you are having a GREAT time!!!! Please don't jump over!!!

PS Friday she did get her lung drained. They drained a liter and a half of fluid off of her left lung. She is able to breathe a lot better.

BACK TO DALLAS

The lung doctor from Dallas called Delight back and he wants her to come to the emergency room tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 to drain the lung. She is ready for some relief. Blu, Jennifer and the kids are coming to Idabel tomorrow night. Delight is looking forward to seeing all of them. If anything different happens tomorrow, I will post.

SHE LOOKS GOOD

We took Delight her lunch and visited a little bit earlier. She looked good (I really did not expect her to look as good as she did) and her breathing was a whole lot better than when I had talked with her this morning. She said that she had just taken a breathing treatment. She still had not heard from the doctor in Dallas. She said that she was going to give him until 2:00 and if she had not heard from him she was going to call him again. She said she would call me when she found out anything.

OTHER LUNG

I talked to Delight a little while ago and you could really tell that she was having a difficult time breathing. She said Dr. Salyer called and said that the xray showed it was the left lung this time. (the right lung was the one that she had the surgery on) Dr. Salyer's office sent the results to the lung doctor in Dallas. She is waiting to hear from them. Possibly she could go down tomorrow to have it drained. She said that she slept until 4:30 this morning. She slept on the couch on pillows. When I hear anything else I will post.
