PRAY

Delight met us for lunch. She ate a few bites of lunch. She is emotionally and physically drained. Please continue to pray for Delight and her family. The chemo is going to be very tough on her.

NOT GOOD NEWS

Delight called and said that she did not get good news. The cancer has grown in several places and there were more places on her liver. So they are stopping the test chemo and starting the new one on Monday. She have 2 weeks of chemo and 1 week off. Monday she will have 6 hours of chemo. The next week she will have 20 minutes. Delight was very upset when she was talking to me. I am sorry I did not find out anything else to tell you...I just did not feel she felt like answering my questions. All we can do is PRAY for her.

LOOKS GOOD TODAY

Delight is at work today looking good but really tired!!! Yesterday she did not feel well enough to come to work. The chemo really zaps her energy. Over the weekend the only time she got out was when she went to church.

They will be leaving this afternoon for Dallas. Terry Joe thought that it would be easier on her going today instead of so early in the morning. She has an appointment at 10:30 to find out the results of her scans. She said that she will call when she gets out of the doctors office. I will post when I find out any news.

SCANS TODAY

Delight went to Dallas today for her scans. Charmyrle took her. They got back about 2:15. Delight was tired and glad to home on the couch!! Wednesday when she goes to Dallas she will see the doctor to find out the results of the scans.

We took Delight to see Mama Mia at the movies yesterday. We all just loved it. It was great. Delight made it really good. We were glad she felt like going with us.

SOUNDING GREAT!!!!!

Delight called and she sounded SO good. All of her blood work looked good. They are very pleased with the way she is doing. The doctor gave her a prescription for something to help her mouth. She is supposed to rinse her mouth 1 hour before she eats. They said that it works kinda like the liquid bandage.

They had made a stop at the PGA store in Plano. She thought they would be heading back to Idabel pretty soon.

She said she would see us in the morning.

AT HOME TODAY

Delight did not feel well enough to come to work today. Walter & I went out to check on her at lunch. We took her some orange salad stuff her mother had made for her. She said that really tasted good to her since her mouth is really bothering her. The chemo has made it raw. So she is very limited on what she can eat.

She looked really good but she said that she just felt bad. Terry Joe is going to take her tomorrow to Dallas. Cydne is going to bring the twins to see her....seeing them makes her feel a lot better.

SHORT WORK DAY

Delight came to work today for about 5 minutes. She said that she was feeling sick and sweating so she thought she better go home. Walter drove her and I followed in my car so I could bring Walter back to the bank. I went back to take her a sandwich & tea a little after 12:00 and she was feeling better. She sat up and ate about 1/8 of the sandwich. I said you better eat a little more and she said that she would work on it. She rested about all weekend. Terry Joe took her for a ride yesterday down to see her mother. Other than that short trip she said that she was on the couch. She said that she would try it again in the morning.
