SCANS TOMORROW

DELIGHT-O-METER is at a 9 1/2 today. She looked really tired to me this morning when she got here. She said that she didn't sleep at all last night.

Terry Joe and Delight went out on their Wednesday night date to Papa's last night. After the meal they went to check on Bobby Mixon and John DeWitt. She said that both of them were doing good. She said that Bobby had not had any trouble with the chemo or the shot afterwards. John seemed to have recovered from his stint. That's good news on both of them.

Delight is excited about being able to take her self to her scans tomorrow. She said that she would call me when she gets done. She wouldn't have any results, she would just call to tell me that she made it okay.

She just left to go home. She was going home to take a nap. Hopefully she is able to do that.

FEELING BETTER

DELIGHT-O-METER is back up to a 10 today.

Delight was at work before 8:30 this morning going strong. She looks good today and the only problem she is having is her back is hurting her.

She didn't get much rest yesterday afternoon because the twins came over to entertain her. Bracee has started dance lessons. Of course she had to show her Mimi some of her latest dances. Blayd is just happy to go outside with his papa.

Thursday she is going to take her scans. She is taking herself. She thinks she is perfectly capable. I guess I'll have to agree.

KINDA TIRED

Delight came to work for a little while today. She said that she was so tired that she could just lay down anywhere and sleep. The only other thing that was bothering her was her legs. She looked pretty good today but you could tell by the way she acted that she was tired. DELIGHT-O-METER is a 9 today.

She stayed at home and rested pretty much all weekend. She and Terry Joe went to the Warren Davis visitation on Friday night for a short period of time. Sunday she went for about 15 minutes to Tony Walden's (and his new wife) wedding shower. Other than those 2 outings she just rested.

When she left she said that she would see me tomorrow.

FEELING GOOD!!!!!

Delight called me this morning to tell me that she was feeling great!!!! She was on the way home from getting her shot when she called. She was excited to be feeling so good the day after chemo.

She said that she felt so good that she was going to come out to the Bank's fair booth and work with me. Friday is the day she and I usually work at the booth. But... my partner never did show up and I'm really glad because it was extremely HOT!!!!!!! She didn't need to be that HOT building. I missed her but her replacement worked almost as hard as she would have. (her replacement was my 5 year old nephew Browning) We had a good time!! Next year Delight I'll be expecting you to be sweating with me.

I didn't ask her her plans for the weekend. Maybe she can just stick around the house and rest.

CHEMO GOES OKAY

Delight called to tell me that she made it thru the chemo okay. She was down waiting on Johnice to come back and pick her up when she called. She sounded really good just tired.

Delight came by this morning to do a couple of things before they left for Texarkana. She was in good spirits and I ask her how she felt and she said good except for her legs hurt a little. She was ready to take her chemo and get it over with.

She said she would try to call me tomorrow and let me know how she felt.

CHEMO TOMORROW

DELIGHT-O-METER is holding on with a 10 today.

Delight sleep in this morning so she didn't come to work until after lunch. She looks and feels great today!! (she just needed a little extra rest this morning)

Tomorrow Johnice is going to take Delight for her chemo treatment. Hopefully this will be the last one for a while. Terry Joe will be taking her Friday for her shot.

Maybe she will feel like calling me on Friday.

I'll let you know if I hear from her.

BUSY WEEKEND

DELIGHT-O-METER is at a 10 today.

Delight had a really busy weekend. Everything went really well for her. The birthday party for her mother went good. She got to visit with her mom, sisters, brother, nieces and little Harley. She had a wonder visit with everyone. Sunday she went to church and then on Monday she rested at home.

She was at work bright and early this morning with a smile on her face!! She has been hard at it ever since. She looks really good and feels pretty good, too.
