SEE I TOLD U SHE HAS HAIR

Doesn't her hair look good?? I told u that she had dark hair mixed in with that gray. When we were coming back in after taking the pictures, I told her that I wished that I had some blue paint and I would paint her head and we could say that we had a visit from one of the Blue Men. Then I had the thought on Halloween that I could paint her head orange and I could make a funny face on top of her head!! Maybe I could win the pumpkin carving contest????

THE SPIKE LOOK

Delight has had a busy week. She has already made 2 trips to Texarkana this week. The first day she had her yearly exam and yesterday she had a mammogram and bone density test. She doesn't know any of the results yet. They will call her or send a letter about her results.

She is very tired today. She has been feeling pretty good this week. She is still having trouble sleeping at night. She couldn't go to sleep last night. So she sleep in this morning. She has been working everyday.

I haven't forgot about the picture of her hair. I told her yesterday to remind me to get the picture. Of course we both forgot about it. Maybe before the end of the year we'll have a picture posted. I'll tell you this much she is having a little trouble controlling it. It doesn't like to lay down. She has the spike look!! It looks good!!!

OVERALL FEELING PRETTY GOOD

Delight has been feeling pretty good this week. The only problem she has been having lately is with her feet and hands. Her feet usually always feel like they are asleep. Other than that small problem she has been good!! Sleeping at night has been about the same. Some nights she sleeps and some nights she doesn't.

Terry Joe and Delight went to Texarkana today for her treatment for her bones. This is a monthly treatment that she is having to take. They told her that it would help build her bones back. It is not supposed to have many side effects. One side effect could be that her bones ache. Last time that she had the treatment she didn't feel any different. She doesn't see the doctor until December.

Her hair is really beginning to grow back. At first I thought all she was going to have was white/gray hair but now I can really see the dark hair coming in, too. I'm sure she will not mind if I take a picture of her new hair growth!!! So be looking for a picture soon!!!

Sorry I haven't blogged this week. Delight and I talked and decided since she wasn't taking chemo and as long as she is feeling good that I probably will not be on the blog but maybe a couple a times a week.

Delight has been doing great!! She had a very busy weekend. Jennifer, Blu & Kaylee came for the weekend. Delight helped Reesha with a garage sale Saturday. The twins were in and out of mimi & papa's house all weekend, too. By the time she got to work on Tuesday she was tired but she was still going strong. She sure did enjoy being with her family.

Delight doesn't go back to Texarkana until next Thursday when she will have her monthly treatment to build her bones back up. She will not see the doctor again until December. If anything changes with Delight or the way she is feeling I'll be sure and post.

DELIGHT IS GOOD!!!!

DELIGHT-O-METER is at a 10. Hopefully it is going to remain a 10 forever. She has felt so good the past few days. Her hair is even beginning to grow back.

They have had fun with the twins this week. Delight has taken them to school the past couple of mornings. They are a mess. They didn't get to eat at Papa Poblano's until last night. The night before they did not want Papa Poblano's they wanted papa's fish. Which he gladly cooked for them.

Blu & Jennifer will be here around 8:00 tonight. I'm sure Delight will have a big meal cooked for them since she likes to cook so well. lol...

ANOTHER GOOD DAY

DELIGHT-O-METER is a 10 today. She is looking and feeling really good. She has really been working really hard this week and she is still going strong.

Blu & Jennifer are coming for a visit this weekend. Delight is looking forward to seeing them. She has a couple of shelves & a mirror that need to be hung. She's hoping she gets some help from Blu & Jennifer. I think maybe she needs some painting done, too.

Theron & Johnice went to go pick up the twins at school today. Delight just left to go pick them up from them. She thought they may need some relief.

Delight has another good day today. She really looked great and I think she felt good, too.

DELIGHT-O-METER is still at a 10 today.

Delight & I went to pick the twins up from school today in the INB's Money Car. They thought that was pretty neat. All kids seem to like to ride in the money car. They were just talking up a storm on the way back to Idabel. They are sure cute. They were going to keep their MIMI entertained this afternoon. Blayd was hoping to go and eat at Papa's for dinner. I'm sure they will get to if that is what they want to do.

"LISA'S KITCHEN"

The DELIGHT-O-METER is back up to a 10 today. Just talking to her today you could tell that she feels a lot better. She doesn't seem so draggy, she is her normal chipper self. She said that she sleep really well last night.

Lisa made Delight some lettuce wraps for their dinner tonight. We had to sneak in the kitchen and try one for lunch. (we had the best lettuce wraps at P.F. Changs when we were in Dallas) But I do have to say Lisa yours are the BOMB!!! You topped P.F. Changs!!! I think that we need Lisa's Kitchen in Idabel. All you need to serve is lettuce wraps and your wonderful sauce. Maybe you could also serve chips and Bettie's wonderful salsa!!! (if you never had Bettie's salsa---you have never tasted the BEST salsa in the world) You would have a wonderful business. Think about it.

GOING STRONG

Delight has been very busy the last few days. Thursday Delight & Charmyrle went to visit their aunt (who has lung cancer) in Claremore. They had a nice visit with them and then they went back to Jenks and spent the night with Jim & Vicky. They had a nice visit with them, too.

Saturday Terry Joe played in a golf tournament and she was able to go and watch him play for about 8 holes. She went and ate with him, too. But after that she was extremely tired. She wasn't able to go to church on Sunday because she was so tired.

DELIGHT-O-METER is at a 9 1/2 today. She looks good but is just really tired.
