Thursday is the usual Country Club Ladies Luncheon. But since the Country Club was closed, we met at AJ's. AJ's has a wonderful buffet. All you can eat...which explains why Walter showed up to join the ladies. He smirked when he sat down, thinking that he was head of the table, but we all knew he was actually the foot...We had a real reason to celebrate today. Delight's nth birthday! So, in addition to the fine food and great company, we enjoyed seeing Delight serenaded by the owner. With his accent, it really reminded me of my favorite Christmas movie, A Christmas Story, where the family ends up at the Asian restaurant for Christmas dinner after a pack of dogs destroyed the turkey and were serenaded by the kitchen staff! Hilarious. But, seriously, this guy was pretty good.
We all had a great time and Delight is looking wonderful! I also have a couple of videos and, if you guys want a good laugh, you need to see them. They're posted on my photobucket so that you can check them out. The first one, titled Cheshire Cat, I had to stop filming because I was about to crack a rib watching Judy (on the right in the video) attempt to grin her way out of the video. It's worth a look!
