Hello Friends,
Just wanted to let you know that Delight has not come to work today yet. I know that she was extremely tired yesterday afternoon. I am glad she is getting a little rest this morning.
She is getting her hair cut today at 11:00 and then she is going to her treatment with Lisa this afternoon.
Maybe I can get a phone call to her in a little while.
If I hear anything later from her I will be sure to post it.

The radiation treatments are quite a bargain, aren't they? In addition to the selective tanning, they also double as a sedative. Rest when you need to...
Well. . . . I was the driver today. Delight was a great partner on the way to Texarkana and to Idabel. We discussed all the food that has been delivered. I got hungry just thinking about all the good home cooking.
We talked about our kids, our husbands, our buddies and everything else in between. It was just a trip to Texarkana except for the fact that Terry Joe can probably read by Delight Light tonight instead of a lamp.
Delight, I had a great time. I am sorry for the reason for the trip, but am looking forward to my time with you again. Have car, will drive. I love you, Lisa
Delight, You and your family are a constant part of my thoughts and prayers. Hope your night is restful. I would call but don't want to disturb you if you are getting to rest a bit. Just know that I wish you comfort, rest, strength, and healing. Love you, Becky

Hey Delight. I get to drive you next Thursday. We'll see who you rate higher--Lisa or me!!! I am helping Becky tonight with the Miss IHS pageant. I think I am clean-up detail!! A real glamorous job!! I am glad I am not the mother of one of the contestants. I know Mandy and Donna are biting their nails about now. Jen, if you are reading this I just want to tell you I enjoyed seeing you last weekend although we didn't get to visit long. You are a great daughter and you will always be one of my favorites. I was just thinking about you and wanted to chat. It is a bit chilly here and we are expecting more snow Tuesday and Wednesday. We have had some interesting weather the past few weeks. Ice, ice, baby... Last week I had to pick John up at the airport. I was headed West on I-40 and in the blink of an eye found myself headed East. After I stopped shaking, two nice Highway Patrolmen helped me get back on course. What would normally be an hour and a half trip turned into four. It didn't take me long to figure out when there is snow stay at home.
If you are up to company when I am in Idabel again, I would like to see you and your new home. I know you are enjoying the location. It is perfect after a long day - peace and quiet.
I will check on you tomorrow. I am anxious to see what the meter reads. Hopefully, a 10+. Love to you my friend - Andrea
