UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

Walter was telling me this morning how Delight got her name. Their daddy named her Delight because she was a "DELIGHT TO THE EYE" But as we all got to know her she became a "DELIGHT TO THE HEART" as well as a "DELIGHT TO THE EYE"

She will remain in our hearts forever.....

We will miss her.....

I look forward to seeing her again one day.....

She was one of a kind.....

To the Eidson family.I know that our hearts are still in shock from Delight's depature. And though our lives will never be the same, we must take time not only to grieve, but also celebrate her life. She gave us so many wonderful and precious memories, which we can cherish forever. She lives on in the hearts and lives of those who love her,and any time we want to see her face,we can just close our eyes.It is in the face of adversity that not only is our faith tested, but the love of Christ in our hearts exhibited.Your family is definitely in my thoughts and prayers.Delight has moved on from Labor to Reward and our time is yet to come.Be encouraged.

Just want to say that I agree with the above statement. Delight is not in pain anymore. She is in a much better place, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Eidson family. Andy and Kristi Manuel

Today there is a new Angel in Heaven watching over us. She is beautiful and free from pain and suffering.

I will always remember Delight, she was an inspiration to everyone who had the privilege to have her in their lives.

I love you my sweet friend.

She is with her HEAVELY FATHER, and ecapes all the pain......she will be missed by all that knew her.I woke up at 4 this morning with her on my mind, i could see her back when she drove that silver grand prix and see her smiling.
GOD REST YOUR SOLE DELIGHT!!!

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.--

I sit here and think of all the times I spent in and out of Delight and T.J's house, all the sleep overs, working on class projects, talking and laughing. I know Delight was such a support and inspiration to many, and has touched so many lives. I continue to pray for T.J, Jenn and Riley, and know that the many memories that we all share are a wonderful testiment to Delight and the wonderful woman that she was. Her spirit lives on in the many people whom she touched. I love you Delight, and will miss you dearly.

When I visited Delight on Sunday, I came away with a sense of awe. Although she was exhausted and in constant pain, her main concern was still about others before herself.

"Is Johnice getting some sleep?" she asked.
"She's fine," I told her.
"Take care of my rock (T.J.)," she said, "He thinks he's tough."

She was truly an amazing woman. I can almost hear her "matter-of-fact" voice and see her face when I read this poem. It reflects her attitude and spirit more than any words I could say...

Death is nothing at all,
I have only slipped into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household world that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near,
Just around the corner.
All is well.

Tammy's poem is so TO THE POINT when it comes to those of us left behind after the transition of a loved one. They REALLY are still here with us and don't want us to be sad too long (would we want them to?) So it is up to us to be strong and keep Delight with us and all the love she has left on Earth for us to share with others. That's how WE go on, knowing she's never left our hearts and it is our job to share her qualities with others in a rippling flow of her everlasting love and Energy.

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more DEATH, neither SORROW, nor CRYING, neither shall there be ANY MORE PAIN ; for the former things have passed away. REVELATION 21:4 May these words give you comfort in this time of great sorrow. Delight taught us all a lesson in courage and strength that we will remember the rest of our lives. God bless and keep you....Gail Trotter
